The general responsibility of the Cashier position at Valley Co-Op is to ring customers up for the products they would like to purchase.  Tasks can include: counting drawer, greeting customers, answering customers' questions, collecting money and giving change, looking up products in the computer system if they do not scan, stocking shelves, cleaning up break room, or wiping counters.  It is important that the Cashiers are pleasant with the customers, able to count change accurately, and have a high degree of integrity and honesty.
